I often simplify the forms in nature and wanted to work with the forms in a mass of flowers. As I work on the design I alter and reduce to the essence but still working to convey a mass of flowers. Even though I have my ideas and design in advance I always analyze as I work on the tapestry and make adjustments as it progresses.
