Inspired by mosaics in Zapotec ruins in Mitla near Oaxaca Mexico. This quilt features panels of geometric designs and vibrant colors. Some of panels have patterns repeated all the way across, changing color scheme halfway while some panels change design and color halfway across the quilt. The symmetry and its subtle disruptions invite the viewer to get lost in exploring the designs throughout the quilt.
