From the artist: "I never play music while laying out a quilt, and in this case I moved about under musical rhythms unconsciously but in a strong mood of spring, my favorite season and inspiration of my poetry."
This quilt is the end-piece of a set of quilts inspired by Sir Simon Rattle conducting the Stravinsky's ballet "The Rite of Spring" where young people jumped and rolled on the floor like fabric in an animated and powerful way.

Techniques: hand pieced and appliqued, machine quilted
