Quilt may have been pieced by Lucy’s mother, in which case Lucy Hilty may have finished the hand-sewn edges. Another notes references Lucy having purchased the quilt from Joyce Gross. Colors watermelon pink calico sashing, black and brown stars with pink and citrus green feathers on white squares. The quilting pattern is a simple one of criss cross lines 1/2” apart across the entire quilt.
