A specially designed quilt made by board members of AMQT. The original idea for this quilt was conceived by the Board Members in 1990. The purpose of designing the quilt was to raise money to pay for improvements and repairs needed on and around the museum building. The quilt blocks picture the museum's home during the late 1980s and into the 1990s, a 1920s Spanish Revival house in San Jose, California. The general concept of the quilt came from Diana Leone. Carol Sampson Rudisill refined and drafted the design for the block and borders and pieced the top. All the fabric was donated by the Quilting Bee owned by Diana. The quilt is signed by the donors. The quilting and finishing of the quilt was done by Betty Sampson.
