Message
When I was a child I had a series of operations to improve my hearing and I remember on one occasion coming round from the general anaesthetic to the smell of fruit. My Dad had bought me some scratch and sniff stickers and the delicious sweet scent had drawn me out of my groggy and disorientated state. The contrast was subtle but also very potent and 'Delicias' for me describes a similar transition.
