Being an avid reader, I follow a group in search of the most beautiful libraries and bookshops of the world. When I read about Antonio La Cava, a retired schoolteacher from Basilicata, transforming his Ape van into a travelling library, the Bibliomotocarro, and driving it through remote villages so that no child would have to go without a book, I had to dedicate a painting to him.

Essendo un'appassionata lettrice, seguo un gruppo alla scoperta delle biblioteche e librerie più belle del mondo. Quando ho letto di Antonio La Cava, maestro in pensione, che trasformava la sua Ape in una biblioteca viaggiante, il Bibliomotocarro, e la guidava tra i paesini sperduti affinché nessun bambino restasse senza un libro, ho dovuto dedicargli un dipinto.
