Every now and again, in my travels, I find glimpses of everyday life that inspire my art. This youngster, learning the ropes of fishing from his Grandad, down in Augusta, exuded such a peacefulness and tenderness that I could have spent all day watching them.

Di tanto in tanto, nei miei viaggi, trovo scorci di vita quotidiana che ispirano la mia arte. Questo ragazzino, che impara le basi della pesca dal nonno, laggiù ad Augusta, emanava una tale pace e tenerezza che avrei potuto passare tutta la giornata a guardarli.
