I love the double bass; its imposing elegance, its stunning woods, its depth of tone, its versatility… I usually paint the jazz bassists I see and hear playing around the region but here, I've tried to capture a classical musician I imagine is smoothly playing some beautiful Bach or a Beethoven solo.
