When the sunlight fades, the colours of the buildings change. People return home and slowly, one by one, the lights in the apartments turn on. Some look out onto the terrace waiting for someone, others make dinner with aromas flooding through the air making your mouth water. Some break the silence singing passionately or playing music, gardeners water masses of geraniums in flower boxes on the balcony and others finish cleaning the house or bring in the laundry. There are those who simply slow down and enjoy a well-deserved moment of relaxation. The world continues on, despite everything or maybe because of it, and it's nice to have a welcoming place that makes us feel good... home.
