Another painting in the limited collection inspired by Richard Diebenkorn, the California painter who came to define California Abstract Expressionism. I endeavored to define water in motion with broad planes of color organized on the horizon, in balance with lines and angles and planes. It was a short-lived study of my humble attempt to learn from the master Richard Diebenkorn. I sold nearly the whole collection. With your interest, I may return to this mid-century yet modern technique.
