"I'll Be There" in the "Sanctum Strata" collection is inspired by a sacred holiness held within the boundaries of the natural world. There is omnipresent peace and boundless Spirit beyond the appearance of an illusory horizon. The hard finite lines of perceived reality give way to the timeless flow and infinite movement of Light and life. The depth, luminosity and translucency of 50+ layers of pigmented beeswax, each fused with the flame of a torch draw you into an underlying sense of peace. This work is an original encaustic painting by Shima Shanti completed in July 2020.
