"Aho" is an original encaustic assemblage artwork created from Native Elements including hand-carved Serpentine stone quarried from North China, ancient coin, carved bone, shell and glass-forged beads hand-sewn with sinew onto loom-woven Mali mud-cloth, feather and horse-hair. Each element was attached with rawhide lacing and primitive hand-knotting methods to the encaustic artwork. The finished artwork is framed in hand -wrapped 5-inch wide seamless white linen and silver finish wood frame.
