This doorway, left tantalizingly open, reveals the graceful curve of a stairwell beyond—quietly inviting exploration. The tonal range of pale blue-grey and bright white shifts with the changing sunlight, while the golden Greek sunset floods the entryway, expanding the palette and casting new forms as shadows dance across the surfaces. My ongoing fascination with doors and entryways is on full display in this work. I am always left wondering what lies beyond—what wonders might unfold, what adventures might await—if only I were to step through the portal.
