In 1998, my husband and I along with our twelve year old son relocated to North Carolina because we wanted more and we dared to dream we could find it. Not more in abundance or material possessions, more quality in life which required us to live differently than we had in the past. It took great courage to leave the familiar; to leave all we had ever known. We go back from time to time because we have loved ones there. Once upon going home from one such visit I was awe-struck in what I saw as we approached the Smoky Mountains on Interstate 40. It was so ethereal like a whole other world out in front of us and it reminded me once again of the blessing I found in letting go and seeking more which has become “Home”.
