The Apostle Islands is an archipelago along the southern shore of Lake Superior. From relaxing days spent on the beach to adventures on the lake, I hope to evoke a sense of place and connection to these lands and waters that so many of us hold dear to our hearts. For this quilt, I used Adobe Illustrator to design the image which I had professionally printed on fabric, and then quilted it entirely by hand. (75)
