Painted on location - and later in the studio from memory and photo reference. I choose to think of this truck as an iconic truck, rather than a specific old family truck. Those memories, the family memories, belong to them alone. However, the iconic old family truck is something I relate to - embodied with memories, emotions and time. A voice was telling me to add the beams of light - so I did : )
