The Methare slum, is home to between 600,000 and 700,000 people in Nairobi, Kenya and occupies a very small area of land. Most of the inhabitants live in shacks made of corrugated metal, in small streets, and all houses border each other very closely. I had the opportunity to visit Methare in 2011 and was left with unforgettable memories of the people and their homes. In Methare Wash Day I have tried to convey the day to day activities that I saw during my visit.
