Summer in Saskatchewan is a time I look forward to every year. While outsiders may view our landscape as bland, I couldn’t disagree more. From the vast prairies and the serene northern lakes to the rolling grasslands in the south, there’s so much to appreciate year-round. But summer? That’s when the province really comes to life. The fields burst with colour—mauve flax, golden wheat, and, of course, the strikingly bright canola fields that seem to glow in the sunlight. It's a beauty that surprises you at every turn.
