I grew up with chickens in our suburban city. My father loved chickens as pets so we had many birds of all kinds. As an adult I wanted to have chickens but my husband does not. When his best friend got some I thought the way for me to have them will be in this painting of his daughter and their chickens. Presently this work is available on Artsy at 33 Contemporary Gallery.
