This piece comes from a process of making random marks on construction paper, and then letting them dry in layers, until a landscape reveals itself. I love how the paint drips and layers and that feels like how light and the weather change from dawn to dusk. Then I take the dried painting and mount it on a wooden panel and protect it with archival matte medium to create a velvety surface.
