"The Last Sacred Place" was created following a primitive canoe-camping excursion in the Adirondacks where Serena Kovalosky experienced a profound "vision" that forever changed her perception of life and purpose of art.
"We spent a week deep in the woods in a place that was only accessible by water. There were no other campers close by and motorized boats were not allowed on the lake. Completely disengaged from the noise of everyday life, I felt a rare and profound sense of peace in what is perhaps one of the last sacred places left on Earth."
