No. 6 is executed in silver paint. I used textures and shapes from nature. The reflective quality of silver paint helps the surface to undulate with particular rhythms occurring in nature. Movement is a primary concern to me.
My work has evolved from the use of paint to the highly reflective material of aluminum. It is a base on which I create images by scoring or etching the surface. The aluminum has a life of its own as it responds to the changes of light.
