Meenakari is one of the old art in India which came to India through the Mughal invasion, this art has its roots in Persia and Iran. Meenakari is primarily done on jewelry and other decorative objects. The process involves an ornamenting metal surface with bright colors & designs.

The process takes time, and this piece took a significant amount of time to finish. It was created in stages from initial patterns, creating textures to filling up colors, then applying a layer of golden paint.
