This canvas was originally an acrylic pour piece I found under a bus stop in Union Square. The original piece was a springboard--”Think I Can Top That?” Covered in gesso, the original was still slightly visible. Using acrylic ink, I mimicked the movement and direction of the original. I made the colors more bold, and added green and black. More minimal than usual but still loud to the eyes, “Think I Can Top That” has an added kick from the contrast of the ink on a pure white background.
