This is a rare capture of a massive spring cumulo nimbus cloud slowly moving across the desert. Its top elevation is estimated to be about 20,000'. If you were travelling in a small plane and you entered into the vortex of turbulent air the consequence might be fatal. It is also the type of cloud that can cause 3" hail and flash flooding in the desert. Once in fall, I witnessed a rare tornado along the frontal line of a larger storm bank of dark clouds from the same point in the desert. It can be printed as large as 16 x 20"
