My conceptual intent with Catching Air is to create a monotype print that possesses a playful and effervescent quality by utilizing custom blended colors and either silver or gold metallic inks. I find that these softly shimmering inks add richness and opacity to the stenciled areas while added collage areas add richness to the design.
