On one of the coldest days of the season, the sun shone brightly, casting beautiful shadows on the houses in Lawrenceville, across my backyard. What I love about this photograph is how the shadows blend seamlessly with the dried vine on the beige wall, the striking contrast of the blue sky, and the fox artwork by Pittsburgh mural artist Jeremy Raymer in the corner - looking as though it’s truly hiding behind the tree. The maroon and red buildings on the right balance the bright beige house and the blue sky.
