Captured on the first clear day after several days of snow and overcast skies, this panoramic photograph showcases Pittsburgh’s downtown, the winding Monongahela River, and seven iconic bridges. Taken on a sunny, sub-zero day with a gentle breeze, the scene is set against a backdrop of hill ranges with ice-covered houses and an azure blue sky scattered with clouds. I composed this panorama on my Apple desktop by seamlessly stitching together four photographs taken in quick succession.
