I captured this photograph on a winter morning in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. While exploring the terrain, I found a vantage point overlooking the Mall Road and the hills and waited. Many subjects passed by, but the scene felt incomplete until a rickshaw puller, straining uphill, entered the frame. I clicked the shutter at just the right moment, with no traffic to disturb the composition. The low winter sun cast long, crisp shadows of the ornate wrought iron railing, the tree branches, and the rickshaw, while the soft backlight gave a highlight to the leaves, enhancing the scene’s serene atmosphere.
