Message
This ornately carved full-sized mask is an original design created in low-fire, white earthenware clay fired in oxidation to 1850ºF. Oxide colorants and underglaze were applied and sponged, retaining the chemicals in the textural recesses. Two decorative beads support the wire for hanging.
