"Ranunculus have always been among my favorite flowers," says Lazard, "I love their brilliantly colored blossoms. Their round, compact, crepe paper-thin petals look like an origami masterwork. The abstractness of their form and intensity of color make them a delight to paint." Symbolically, ranunculus flowers symbolize radiant charm. A bunch of them conveys a message of being radiant with charm or attractiveness.
