"I often start my pastels en plein aire, as I gain inspiration from the gorgeous settings on-site. Colors catch my eye, and ignite my imagination and here the early spring colors seemed to float into bloom. Though my pastels begin in the outdoors, they are later resolved and finished in my studio."
