The Lady of REFLECTION represents the Native American spirit, a force to bring forth both past and present, by reflecting the Sun that brings forth the Universe around you. As you view the work, you are standing next to Mother Nature and you will see reflections of light that look like planets moving.... The crown is made to capture the sky and clouds, with doors opened to the Universe. A labyrinth leading up to the crown signifies our walk of life with reflections of our own journey...some clear, some scratched, some broken and shattered, some of our selves. Inside is the temple, a womb, of reflections of life.
The Lady of REFLECTION is a Patriot of humankind bringing inspiration to all cultures of the Americas and here in Salem, Massachusetts.
“Art manifests through the heart of my ‘animal side’ which comes from Mother Earth, to which the soul is the art of creating from mind to my hands. All in spirit, to satisfy my quest of consciousness, with my Creator. I respect Mother Earths’ gifts, and my artwork can be returned to Her...”
~ David Jaramillo, “Wise Earth Spirit”, Artist
