Here comes the Sun

Here comes the sun was inspired by the Beatles song and the Cirque de Soleil show in Las Vegas. During the show this inspiration hit and I had to start sketching as soon as I left. I love the sun spots that play with movement throughout the piece. It measures 24x21, uses approximately 129,000 seed beads and is mounted on up-cycled cabinet door.

"Here Comes the Sun" is a captivating bead mosaic artwork measuring 24 x 21.5 inches. This intricate, abstract design features interconnected lines and circular forms that create a sense of movement and dynamic flow. The warm, golden hues and gradients of yellow and amber tones give the piece a luminous quality, as if it is glowing from within. The overall effect is mesmerizing and almost hypnotic, reminiscent of ripples spreading across a body of water or the growth patterns of natural organisms. This artwork achieves a balance between repetition and variation, conveying a sense of organic symmetry and harmonious proportion.
