I am learning what it means to be an American. I decided to have challenging content for my new viewers. I created a sculpture and asked my studio visitors to come up with a name for it. I received more than 400. When I was reading the suggestions, I realized that the majority of the names had a variation of the word freedom in the title. This is the word that people in the USA value the most.
Freedom is a powerful word. To some it means independence, to others, it is the ability to act and speak freely or to go where they wish. You cannot overestimate the importance of having it. But at the same time if Freedom is in your hands you have to be ready to let it go anytime. If you hold it tight it's not Freedom anymore.
