This piece was inspired by a walk in the Cerne Abbas valley in Dorset, near the famous giant etched into the land. A typical spring day, the wind blowing over the high ground and the clouds scudding by.
Each piece has been started as a drypoint etching- I have then collaged coloured and textured tissue paper into the pieces, as well as hand mono-printed onto them (this is like printed painting- very gestural). I have also added drawn elements into this piece. Each piece emerges from the process completely unique- albeit with a family resemblance to the others in the series.
This piece is sold unframed, but float mounted (showing the edges of the paper) on archival quality mount board, ready to take to your framer.
Price includes insured courier delivery, posted on the first working day after payment is received.
