One of a series of artworks inspired by Buddhism's Eightfold Path. In this series, each of the eight parts is represented with abstract shapes and colors. Elements are often semi-reflected or repeated, to represent a separation of self from thoughts. Colors overlap and intersect to point at the impossibility of experiencing the world with complete objectivity. Our lives are colored by beliefs and emotions. Close examination reveals pencil marks and subtle shifts of color which may not be noticed from a distance.
