The idea for this collection came about last year as I experimented with collage. The shapes in the collages inspired a series of drawings, which inspired these monochrome paintings. There is a night-time, dream like element to these works. This painting was created with acrylic paint, and a silver colored pencil on paper, 11”x 14” - Each work was gessoed several times on both sides of the paper to create a texture that is unique to each painting.
