Juried Winter Show 2025

I have lovely fragrant peonies! They tempt me a few times each spring to paint them from life. It is a delight and a battle especially because of their delicacy. Maybe this time I was victorious! At any rate, I always pat myself on the back for the things that worked. I think the layered blue background was a successful addition near the very end and made the still life more vibrant.
