Susan Sinclair Galego comes from a family of artists spanning several generations. She grew up in Washington D.C., attended Carnegie Mellon where she began a Fine Arts program, graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and lived in New York City for twenty years.
She returned to Washington D.C. to raise her family and has now come full circle, returning to her love of painting the figure, the still life and the landscape. She is an intuitive and responsive painter who captures the sensibility of the subject.
Susan is proud to be a board member for the Friends of the Yellow Barn Studio, the non-profit partner to The Yellow Barn Studio & Gallery. Her solo show, Vignettes, in May of 2019 was very successful.
Her paintings have found homes in the United States, Puerto Rico and Internationally.
She is a member of the Montgomery Art Association and the Rockville Art League and her work can be seen often in their group shows.
