Fairweather Artists - People Places Things

I have been drawing and painting since I was a child, inspired by my illustrator grandfather. I love working in a variety of media because each inspires in a different way. Juicy oil paint yields beautiful textures and glorious layers of color. Collage and mixed media call for whimsy and an exploration of composition. Gouache inspires the precision and bright color of generations of illustrators. I love the experience of exploration.

I have studied at the Yellow Barn Studio at Glen Echo Park in Maryland with Walt Bartman, Gavin Glakas, Jordan Bruns, and Christine Lashley. I have also studied at the Art League of Alexandria, Virginia, with Lisa Semerad and online with teachers from around the world, including Lucie Duclos, Jane Davies, Zoey Frank and Ingrid Christensen. My work has been exhibited in juried shows at the Yellow Barn, the Art League of Alexandria, the Rockville Art League, and the Montgomery Art Association.
