Along the Rhine, I visited an unforgettable town Heidelberg. I turned the main Street to come to view this quiet scene.

This narrow shadowy alley with bikes haphazardly parked to the sides is cool and inviting. The sunlight filling up the buildings in the distance, especially along the road that is perpendicular to the alley, gives hints of what lays ahead. The textures and atmosphere of the location the artist is depicting are so well captured by the watercolor. It is an inviting, beautiful piece.
