This work, dedicated to my first mentor Carol Melnick who gave me invalauable feedback when i was a teenager, is part of my Warrior Women series, an exploration of the extraordinarily inspired roles, capacities, experiences and perspective of women. I periodically revisit this theme by expressing memories, visions, rage, anguish and thanksgivings with symbols on the figures that present a visual articulation reflecting my journey and life challenges. One of the only two linoleum reduction works that I've made.
