Sand-colored Israeli Limestone. Created in 1999. While participating in an archaeological dig with my family, I came across this unusual piece of unattached limestone which I took as a souvenir (with permission, of course.) The boot, which is a recurring theme in my work, represents an ordinary person who makes his mark in this world. In this case, what came to me is a boot washed up on the shore; the contrast between an active and passive approach to life. Dimensions: 6.5"h X 11.5 X 4.5"d. Please feel free to reach out and email me at [email protected] to discuss installation and display or any other concerns you might have.
