Mixed-media wood-acrylic sculpture (acrylic paint and acrylic square bars). The hardwood square board is 36" X 36" X 2.5". Sticks are a combination of hardwood dowel and translucent acrylic square dowel. The thickness of the wood/acrylic dowels incrementally decreases as the various sculptures are created to be incrementally smaller in size, surrounding the center to create a wood frame (sculpture frames decrease in height starting at 2.5" for largest, next 2.0", next 1.5 inches. The more miniature center-piece sculpture is smaller, but taller at 2.0" to create an appropriate shadow contrast to complement the dark blue space. In the center (white) is a painted sculpture image, copper, containing a small black dot at the rough center. This portrays infinite depth.
