Kumiko panel with a repeating hemp leaf design.
This was one of my first significant pieces. It's a repeating hemp leaf pattern, made with traditional Japanese joinery. The variety of different patterns, and images using traditional kumiko designs is limitless, but very time consuming. I hope to explore more designs like this in the future.
