Roanoke Arts Commission member Tranay Wilson created this image to signify the spirit of the Commission’s work.

“The creative spirit is in all of us,” says Wilson, “and the more we encourage and celebrate each other, the more we’ll accomplish together. By overlooking the contributions of some people, we limit ourselves and our community. Being a welcoming and compassionate community means truly seeing each other and the other’s unique gifts.”
