The owner of Alexander/Heath Contemporary Gallery, Ed Hettig supports artists from Roanoke and beyond. Artist Paulina Swietliczko says of Hettig, “Ed is very supportive of the innovative and experimental art projects that would never be supported by commercial art galleries, but he also supports traditional art. Ed is very inclusive and down-to-earth.”
Native to Poland where she earned her MFA in painting in 2003, Swietliczko has been inspired by the Roanoke landscape. She typically paints en plein air around the city.
