Painted by “Rather Severe,” the Mellow Mushroom Pizza Restaurant’s exterior is covered in an abstraction with bold colors that enrich the surrounding area and draw visitors in. “Rather Severe” is a team consisting of Travis Czekalski and Jon Stommel, who create murals, illustrations, and public art. The team collaborates with their clients and the surrounding communities on what their visions are for a piece as part of their creative process.

About the artists:
Travis Czekalski and Jon Stommel received their BFAs from the Columbus College of Art and Design, where they began working together in 2010.
